For property owners
The adjuster estimate may be short of a complete reconstruction file
Residential and commercial property owners, including homeowners. We review the carrier or adjuster estimate and tell you what is missing for a complete file on the dwelling, contents and personal property, and ALE and period of restoration.
What you receive
An initial file review of the adjuster estimate you send. The review covers:
- A written missing-items review of the adjuster estimate they send.
- Coverage of dwelling, contents, and additional living expense as those items appear in that estimate.
- A list of omitted or under-scoped reconstruction items, with enough detail that they (or their counsel) can see what is missing.
- A discussion sheet you can use with your adjuster. It lists the additional items we recommend and gives you a practical way to ask for those approvals. We do not negotiate with the carrier for you. This is not legal advice and not a contractor bid.
- A clear statement of what this review is not: not a complete Xactimate reconstruction, not a full contents inventory, not an appraisal, not legal advice, not a contractor bid.

Water loss, structure only. Opened wall cavity and saturated flooring.
Fee
$399.99 if the adjuster estimate total is under $50,000. $599.99 if the estimate total is $50,000 or more. The intake below asks which band your estimate falls in so the fee is unambiguous.
Nothing is billed up front. If we confirm we can take the file, you will receive a Wave invoice before work begins. No card is collected on this site.
We do not give legal advice. If the file needs an attorney, we will say so.
Additional work and refunds
The quoted fee covers the initial file review only. A complete Xactimate rebuild of the estimate, a full contents inventory with evaluation and pricing, and appraisal or arbitration support are separate engagements. If additional work is required, we provide a written estimate before that work starts, and no work begins on it until you agree.
If you have paid and do not agree to the additional work, and that work has not been started, fees for work not performed are refunded.
Wave invoice after Aaron accepts. Nothing is invoiced until then.
Send the estimate
Send the carrier or adjuster estimate. We run the conflict check first.
Second option
30-minute phone call
A 30-minute phone call with questions about your claim. $100. This is not a substitute for the initial file review. It is not a promise of more money, not legal advice, and not a contractor bid.
There is no discount on this call. Nothing is billed until we confirm we can take the call. If we can, you will receive a Wave invoice for $100. We will then set a 30-minute call.
